The Lady's Island Elementary School is an ongoing project.

The first phase included renovation of the existing building and enlarging the classrooms. By removing the existing exterior wall and erecting a new almost continuous envelope around the existing building the classroom space was brought up to exceed current standards.

The second phase included the addition of a new cafeteria- kitchen wing and the conversion of the old cafeteria and kitchen into specialty classrooms.

A new main entrance canopy and a new classroom wing opposite the cafeteria are planned in the future.

Completed: 2004     Const. Cost: $ 1.9 million
